Martin's father has visa cancelled over bikie links
The father of star Richmond footballer Dustin Martin has had his visa cancelled over links with an outlaw bikie gang.
According to News Limited, Shane Martin was in Sydney when he was locked up on Thursday morning.
His residency visa was cancelled because officials decided he did not meet minimum character requirements.
Federal Immigration Minister Peter Dutton on Friday confirmed the reports.
"We are determined to target people who have been involved particularly at high levels of outlaw motorcycle gangs," Mr Dutton told reporters in Melbourne.
Dustin Martin was born in Victoria but Shane is a citizen of New Zealand. He is believed to be a high-ranking member of the Rebels.
