Steph Curry is the latest NBA star to try his hand at AFL

Reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Steph Curry is the latest basketball superstar to jump aboard the Dockers bandwagon, thanks to the recruiting skills of players Lachie Neale and Hayden Crozier.

The Freo pair have been on a whirlwind NBA tour organised by Australian company Hype Tours, taking in behind-the-scenes action from the NBA and fitting in a bit of kick-to-kick with some of the league's best players.

So far Curry looks like he's the best with the Sherrin, producing a pretty decent kick and handball combination for a first timer.

The Dockers struggled to score goals last season, so enlisting the sharpshooting help of Steph Curry could be one thing, but bringing in the skills of three-point marksman Kyle Korver of the Atlanta Hawks could have them raining in goals.

The pair even stopped by TNT's Inside the NBA set, hamming it up with NBA legend turned broadcaster Shaquille O'Neal, who couldn't get enough of the Aussie jokes.
