AFL star embroiled in messy Instagram spat

AFL player Dayne Zorko’s alleged relationship spat has forced the 29-year-old to shut down his Instagram account.

The Brisbane Lions captain’s account was recently hacked, and a disconcerting photo was uploaded to the popular social media platform.

According to multiple reports, the photo was uploaded by his former partner Kalinda Salla with the following text.

“Thank goodness I know your passcode Dayne so I could see you actually didn’t care about leaving me,” it read.

The screenshot of the Instagram post quickly did the rounds on social media, prompting Zorko to deactivate his account entirely.

The Brisbane Lions were contacted for comment by The Courier Mail, and said they wouldn’t publicly comment on the issue.

“It’s a private matter between the two of them (Zorko and Salla),” the spokesperson told the News Corp publication.

Zorko replaced Dayne Beams as captain of the Brisbane Lions in May this year, after Beams was stood down by the club following a family tragedy.

The midfielder attended this year’s Brownlow Medal with Salla, the pair being photographed on the red carpet together.

But as Zorko appeared recently at a Melbourne Cup function, Salla was nowhere to be seen.

The circumstances surrounding the pair’s relationship will seemingly remain a private matter despite the Instagram hack sparking rumours.

Zorko and Salla have a child together.
