Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin: "Spartans did well, they defended really well. We tried to find ways to find a goal, it's so important in these kind of games. I think how we mixed our attacks - sometimes behind and sometimes between - and finally we get that goal, and another one before half-time.

"The third goal was important. You never know in these games if they get an opportunity in transition or from a corner. I'm really happy with that.

"The last 10 minutes, we had a 4-0 lead, and still everyone is sprinting and helping each other to defend, to keep pushing instead of just playing off the game. We need to keep that hunger on the pitch.

"[The semi-final] is going to be nice. We'll see the draw tomorrow, but for now we focus on the league."
