Alabama may have opened as the favorite to win the 2018 national title, but Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm starts with the best odds to win the Heisman Trophy.

According to Sports Betting Dime, Fromm has 10/1 odds of winning the award.

As a true freshman, he finished the 2017 season with 2,615 passing yards and 24 touchdowns and helped bring Georgia to the College Football Playoff title game.

Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley, Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor and Georgia running back D'Andre Swift have 14/1 odds, while Stanford running back Bryce Love opens at 15/1.

Also mentioned are both of Alabama's quarterbacks, Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa. Hurts opened at 22/1, while Tagovailoa has a 50/1 chance, according to Sports Betting Dime.

Oklahoma senior quarterback Baker Mayfield won the award this season.
