Brent Musburger doesn't want to hear people complaining about the violence in football.

"Yo, Snowflakes. Quit preaching," he tweeted Tuesday. "The Violent World of Sam Huff sold NFL football to the masses. The Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders gave us a little sex with our violence. Deal with it!"

Violence in the game has been a hot topic for several years now with the new information on the long-term effects of concussions and the pain-killer addiction much of the NFL has dealt with for years, but it became a particularly hot topic after Monday night's game between the Steelers and the Bengals.

In the game, Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier suffered a spinal injury, after which he could not feel his lower extremities, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster took out Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict with a brutal block, and Bengals safety George Iloka was called for unnecessary roughness on a hit to the head of Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.

The violence was front and center in this game and it became a point of contention amongst talk shows and columnists alike, with many former and current athletes like Ben Roethlisberger saying they would not want their sons to play football.

Musburger is clearly not going to be one of those people, but he will have to deal with others who feel that way.
