Castleford Tigers get six in Super League Dream Team

Castleford Tigers' dominance of the 2017 Super League season has been reflected in the competition's Dream Team, with six of their players included in the line-up.

Castleford sailed to the League Leaders' Shield for the first time in their history this term, triumphing in 25 matches to book their place in the semi-finals.

The Tigers' Man of Steel nominees Luke Gale and Zak Hardaker made the cut for the Dream Team on Monday, with Hull FC's Albert Kelly – the other man up for the individual award – also included.

Greg Eden, who has scored 38 tries this season, Michael Shenton, Mike McMeeken and Grant Millington are the other members of the Castleford contingent.

Hull are the only other club to have more than one representative, Mahe Fonua joining Kelly in the team.

Matt Parcell (Leeds Rhinos), Sebastine Ikahihifo (Huddersfield Giants), Ben Murdoch-Masila (Salford Red Devils), Sean O'Loughlin (Wigan Warriors) and Mark Percival (St Helens) make up the XIII.

Wigan Warriors and England captain O'Loughlin is in the Dream Team for the sixth time, making him just the fourth player to achieve the feat.
