The shoulder charge may have been banned in the NRL, but it seems to be alive and well in the sport of cycling.
And one overzealous fan found that out the hard way on Thursday when he was on the receiving end of a massive hit from a security guard.
The fan decided it would be a good idea to jump onto the road during the world road cycling championships in Norway and run behind one of the cyclists.
Unfortuntely the security guard decided it wasn't a good idea, levelling the unlucky bloke with a huge hip and shoulder.
The fan was sent sprawling into another group of spectators and the security guard was hailed a hero (we assume).
