Odell Beckham Jr. says ankle is 'straight,' admits it's not 100 percent

Odell Beckham Jr. said his ankle is on the mend.

The Giants receiver, who missed Week 1 because of his injured right ankle, said he should be good to go this week against the Eagles.

"I came out straight. I didn't have any setbacks or anything like that. So, keep ramping up the rehab," Beckham said, via ESPN. "Just try to get as good as you can get, you know what I mean?"

He admitted his ankle might not be 100 percent for the rest of the season, but expects his production to increase now that he is maintaining it.

"The ankle is something you get on every single day," Beckham said. So, you never really know, but I'm going to get as good as I can get and I know once I'm comfortable cutting off in each and every way, I don't see that there will be any problems with it, even if it's not 100 (percent)."

Beckham was limited in Thursday's practice, which is likely a plan to keep Beckham from straining the ankle too much ahead of Sunday's game in Philadelphia.
