CONTE FIGHTING FOR TRANSFER TARGETS
Antonio Conte is struggling to convince the Chelsea board to sign his transfer targets, The Times reports.
The Blues manager reportedly has grown frustrated with his club's transfer movement this summer and wants to make additional signings, with Ivan Perisic, Fernando Llorente, Virgil van Dijk, Antonio Candreva and Alex Sandro among the targets.
Chelsea's board, however, is resistant to the idea of signing older players, with the club more interested in younger prospects.
WBA REJECT MAN CITY'S £18M EVANS BID
West Brom have rejected Manchester City's £18 million bid for Jonny Evans, according to a report from the Daily Telegraph .
Pep Guardiola is keen to further bolster his defence, after securing the signings of full-backs Kyle Walker, Benjamin Mendy and Danilo this summer, and has subsequently identified Evans as a target.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is prepared to wait until the January transfer window to make any further signings, according to ESPN .
Mourinho had previously targeted four new additions over the summer, but has been frustrated in his attempts to bring in Inter winger Ivan Perisic following earlier deals for Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic.
INTER TO HOLD PERISIC TALKS
Ivan Perisic’s agent is set to hold talks with Inter regarding a new contract for the Croatia international, claims Calciomercato.com.
However, despite Inter being keen to secure Perisic on a new deal, the Serie A club could still be persuaded to sell the Croatia international to Manchester United, if they are offered €55 million and Anthony Martial on loan.
BONY CLOSE TO £13M SWANSEA RETURN
Swansea are ready to spend some of the £45 million windfall from the sale of Gylfi Sigurdsson on a deal to bring Wilfried Bony back to the club, reports The Sun .
Sigurdsson is set to finalise his protracted move to Everton and Swansea are now close to a £13m deal to re-sign Bony, who left the Liberty Stadium for Manchester City in a £28m transfer in 2015.
DRINKWATER WILL COST CHELSEA £40M
Chelsea have been told that Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater will cost them £40 million, accoring to the Telegraph .
The Blues have had a bid of £15m already turned down for the Foxes star and will now offer a deal worth around £25m.
Leicester are holding out for £40m, however, the same fee which saw Nemanja Matic leave Stamford Bridge for Manchester United.

Southampton are determined to hold onto the centre-half for another season, but may be tempted to cash in, if they are offered a world-record fee for a defender of more than £70 million.
Liverpool had previously been favourites to sign the Dutchman, but now Chelsea and City have moved ahead in the race to agree a deal.

Barcelona have rejected the opportunity to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City, according to TransferMarketWeb .
