Yankees shut down concussed outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury
Yankees outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury, who suffered a concussion when he slammed into the Yankee Stadium wall on May 24, has been shut down by the team because his headaches have returned, New York manager Joe Girardi said Saturday.
Ellsbury was scheduled to participate in batting practice Friday.
He will see a neurologist when the Yankees return to New York from their current road trip, which ends Sunday in Toronto, Newsday reports via Twitter.

In 39 games before his concussion, Ellsbury was slashing .281/.349/.422 with four home runs and 14 RBI.
