NFL Draft rumors: Packers intrigued by tight end convert from Fresno State

Aaron Peck, an under-the-radar prospect largelydue to a position change,is starting to generate some serious interest from NFL teams.

The Green Bay Packers will host Peck for a private workout next week, a source tellsSporting News. The Fresno State wide receiver is converting to tight end and looking to build on a solid senior season.

Peck missed the entire2015 season, his junior year, due to a foot injury. In 2016, Peck finishedsecond on the team with 46 catches. He also had 630 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

At his recent Pro Day, Peck measured in at 6-3,239 pounds. He ran a 4.6340-yard dashand put upa solid 22 reps on the bench press.

Last year, the Packers took Montana State tight end Beau Sandland in the seventh round andeventually signedhim to the practice squad. Sandland was a standoutatthe NFL Combine last year.
