Bull fighter gored, ends up with 11-inch horn up backside (WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT)

Horrific footage has emerged of what is no doubt every bull fighter’s worst nightmare.

Matador Antonio Romero was rushed to hospital after copping the bulls 11-inch horn up his backside, causing ‘severe’ injuries.

The bull fight in Mexico City looked seemingly under control early.

But as Romero urges the bull past him at one stage using his muleta (the red cloth) the beast rears up and attacks.

It catches his arm and throws him off balance.

Before he has time to react and cover up and bull goes at him again, this time lashing at him with its horns and rolling him across the ground.

It is at this point the horn gores Romero’s backside.

Fellow bull fighters rushed in and stopped the beast from executing any more damage.

Romero was rushed to hospital for urgent treatment.
