The major obstacle to Rousey, Cyborg super-fight

With Ronda Rousey nearing her return to the Octagon, talk of a super fight with Cris Cyborg is intensifying - however one major obstacle stands in the way.

Agreement on a fighting weight is all the stands in the way of what will be one of the biggest fights in UFC history.

ROUSEY THE BIGGEST STAR: White: Why Rousey is a bigger star than McGregor

"Ronda wants to fight her. They'd have to figure out at what weight they'd fight, but Ronda wants that fight," UFC president Dana White told the UFC Unfiltered podcast.

Previously, Rousey has insisted she would only ever take a fight against Cyborg at 135 pounds, 20 pounds below the Brazilian's normal fighting weight of 155.

But with Cyborg's last two fights taking place at a catchweight of 140 pounds, it seems like a middle ground could almost be established.

White agrees that the biggest sticking point to making the fight happen will definitely be weight.

Rousey has been out of action since being knocked out by Holly Holm in November 2015, while Cyborg is coming off a TKO win over Lina Lansberg last weekend.

Both have beefed through the media in the past, with Rousey accusing Cyborg of taking steroids in 2011.
