Red Sox give WWII veteran special gift on his 100th birthday
World War II veteran Ben Sofka was at Fenway Park to watch the Boston Red Sox take on the Oakland Athletics to celebrate his 100th birthday and his team certainly put on a show for him.
Sofka took in the game at the third-base line, watching the Sox cruise to a 13-5 win, but they took a moment to make the day extra special with this touching tribute on the big screen.

If that wasn't enough, the ball girl made sure the special day was that little bit sweeter, gifting the centurion a game ball.
