Baseball mascot gets floored by errant throw

A mascot for the El Paso Chihuahuas has been knocked to the ground in hilarious circumstances after being hit by a throw from a rival team's player.

Chico the Chihuahua appeared hurt and was slow to get up off the ground after Tacoma Rainers shortstop Chris Taylor launched a throw at first base which sailed over its intended recipient and into the opposing team's dugout.

Chico eventually returned to his feet, but signaled to cameras that he was intent on revenge.
