Hooters ball girl makes meal of simple throw

One of the staples of MLB spring training in Florida is Hooters girls patrolling the sidelines at Bright House Field, home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

More often than not, the ladies of Hooters perform their duties as ball girls with little issue.

But about once a year, something hilarious happens — like when a Hooters girl picked up a fair ball and handed it to a fan. (Ladies, it happens to full-timers in the regular season too).

That brings us to Friday, during the Phillies game with the Detroit Tigers, when a Hooters girl picked up a foul ball and tried to toss it into the stands. It didn't go well.

It's all in the release point. And that release point was not great. But, hey, the ball ultimitely got to its final destination. That counts for something, right?
