He shoots, he scores: Putin nails eight goals in ice hockey match

Vladimir Putin might be 62 years old, but he's well known for his action man image.

Recently, he added ice hockey to the lengthy list of spots on his CV, which already includes hunting, fishing, riding, swimming and judo.

And the scariest man in the world is clearly taking well to his new hobby well. He was invited to take part in an exhibition match in Sochi on Saturday, a game in which a host of former NHL stars, including Pavel Bure and Valeri Kamensky, also played.

Putin's side won 18-6, according to the Associated Press reporter, with the leader of the nation bagging eight of those goals.

Second top scorer? Defence minister Sergey Shoygu, who chipped in with three.
