Danny Sturridge remains unsure of his future at Chelsea.
The Mirror sys Liverpool wanted him on loan but Sturridge wanted a permanent deal and the transfer fell down which left the ex-Manchester City youngster annoyed and frustrated.
Tottenham and Arsenal also watched developments but, even though Sturridge was interested in getting away, a move did not materialise.
Sturridge is behind Fernando Torres in the striker queue and has also spoken a few times about wanting to play central rather than wide.
