Litchfield remains the only undefeated team after three rounds of Darwin Rugby League.

The Bears made it three wins on the trot with a 30 points to 12 win over Nightcliff at Freds Pass yesterday afternoon.

On Saturday, Brothers downed Palmerston in a hard-fought win, with Danny Miskin again showing why he is one of the Top End's best centres.

And South Darwin has continued its resurgence, with a strong first half performance setting up an 8 point victory over the fast-finishing reigning premiers University.

In the Australian Rugby Shield, Queensland Country were too good for homeside the Darwin Mosquitoes.

The powerhouse Heelers controlled the game after half time, cruising to a commanding 34-8 points victory.

Mozzies coach Andrew Jackson says while the Mozzies were ultimately outclassed, there were plenty of positives to take away from the game.

"They were a very good side and they kept their structure really, really well and we just fell off in a couple of ways. But the courage and determination and the actual ability to have a go was still there.

"We were just beaten by a far better team."
