Race caller left red-faced

You have to feel for poor Jim Jacques. The 48-year-old race caller from Adelaide's Globe Derby Park just wouldn't take a day off work, despite a tickle in the back of his throat.

As the trots rounded the final bend Jacques encounters a race callers worst nightmare - his voice gives out.

The result is a hilarious struggle between Jacques and voice box with the latter getting the victory and leaving Jacques red-faced, and sounding like a squeaky little girl.
