The Australian men's volleyball team has recorded a straight sets win over Greece in the opening contest of their three-match series in Athens.
The tour is acting as a crucial warm-up for the Olympic qualification tournament to be held in Japan next month.
The Australians started poorly and trailed 4-8 in the first set after giving up a point on reception.
But they recovered from the early setback to win the opening set 25-22 before powering away to take the next two sets by the same 25-20 margin.
The second match will be held on Friday.
