Australia's Archery team for the 2008 Olympics Games has been selected. The five archers who will represent Australia at the Games will be: Lexie Feeney, Jane Walker, Sky Kim, Matt Gray and Michael Naray.

The past couple of Olympic Games have been successful for our Archers and the team is optimistic about their chances of success in Beijing.

Perhaps the team's strongest chance lies with Sky Kim. The 25 year old male won the Beijing Test event in 2007 after a lengthy shoot off against Malaysia's Chu Sian Cheng. "I am definitely looking for a medal in Beijing" Kim said. "I feel like I could get gold".

The AOC has appointed Deonne Bridger as archery section manager for the Games.

As a lead up to Beijing, the team will compete in three of the four World Cup events. These will take place in Dominican Republic (in March), Turkey (in May), and France (in June).

The team will officially depart for Beijing on the 3rd of August.
