One last chance to get it right
May 14, 2008

Well I am one month closer to the biggest meet of my life so far, and things are going great.
Apart from a minor back problem during our Olympic Orientation camp, I have put together a good three week block of training that sets me up well for the months to come.
Coming up in a few weeks, I am doing a tour of Europe. The tour consists of a week and a half training camp in Rome, then three meets in Rome, Barcelona and Canet. This is our last good chance to get some international race practice and perfect our racing plans ahead of Beijing.
After we get home there are a few more competitions on the east coast and some vital weeks of training and organisation to be done before we head off.
Until then I am busy training at home. My training schedule has become busier as I have added altitude training.
Outside of training I have been busy with some media requests and Olympic functions as we have just passed the "100 days to go" mark.
When I have had a free moment I've tried to take the focus off swimming and relax. Just going to movies with friends or even planning my holiday post Olympics are enough to recharge my batteries.
I'm really looking forward to the months ahead, let's hope that next time I check in I have some good news from Europe and a positive few weeks of training under my belt.
