After winning gold medals in both the 200m and 400m individual medley races at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, sections of the Australian media have talked about her as the new 'glamour girl' of Australian swimming, a new-found profile she is relishing. "It is exciting because it's a whole new experience for me," she said. "My life has changed a little bit. I'm experiencing a whole side of life that I hadn't before. I really enjoy getting a little bit of attention here or there. It just makes it so much more fun and enjoyable."
