Hagan endorses Finch for Blues nod

Parramatta coach Michael Hagan says Eels half-back Brett Finch deserves another chance to play State of Origin for New South Wales.

Finch scored a decisive field goal late in Parramatta's 19-18 win over St George-Illawarra at Sydney's Olympic stadium on Sunday.

Hagan says Finch has shown he can perform under pressure.

"He showed good composure to kick the point and put the game beyond doubt," Hagan said.

"From an Origin point of view he's thinking the right way and he would be with better players and I've no doubt he'd handle it well."
