Miley Cyrus chooses designers for tour

Miley Cyrus has asked Marc Jacobs to design clothes for her upcoming tour.

Although the Wrecking Ball singer has become synonymous with wearing very little during her performances, she has asked a selection of designers to create outfits for her shows.

Top of the list is Marc Jacobs, whose Spring 2014 campaign Cyrus has just fronted.

Also on the list is Jeremy Scott, The Blonds, and iconic Cher costume designer Bob Mackie.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cyrus explained that each designer she worked with was given a "section" of her tour to design for.

"Clothes for me, or lack thereof, say a lot," the 21-year-old told the publication.

With each designer having varying styles, it can be expected that every vignette of The Bangerz Tour will be wildly different.

Hopefully the outfits will please mum-and-manager Tish Cyrus, who recently revealed that she isn't always impressed by the provocative outfits her daughter wears.

"That's the only one I really didn't like," Tish told E! News recently, referring to the outfit Cyrus wore to the iHeartRadioMusic Festival in Las Vegas in September: a white, gorilla-esque string top and fluffy sleeves, complete with tiny black nipple pasties that left her bare breasts on full display.

"I was there for that," Cyrus's 26-year-old sister Brandi added. "And there was some tension".

"That's the only time ever," Tish said. "Now Miley's 21, so, you know..."
