New Zealand's Olympic fan base in London will reopen a day after a fire forced 300 people to flee the venue.
The fire at Kiwi House in King's Cross on Wednesday started in an outside barbecue area at the rear of the building causing two gas bottles explode.
No one was injured in the blaze which started about 7.20pm (4.20am Thursday AEST).
New Zealand Olympic Committee spokeswoman Ashley Abbott said the temporary base would reopen at 6pm on Thursday (3am Friday AEST) after authorities gave it the green light following checks.
Damage had been limited to a corner of the outside area and the building at Granary Square was untouched by the fire.
Olympic medal winners including rowers Eric Murray, Hamish Bond, Mahe Drysdale as well as Valerie Adams had visited the temporary bar during the Games.
