Hall, 19, finished in 4 minutes, 10.88 seconds, well clear of Hungarian Tamas Sors and Italy's Federico Morlacchi.

Elsewhere, Ellie Cole won a bronze in the equivalent women's event behind Paralympic legend Natalie du Toit of South Africa who won her 12th gold medal.
