RALEIGH, North Carolina, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Carolina Hurricanes netminder Cam Ward was hospitalized in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday after his left leg was cut open by a skate.
Ward suffered the injury after colliding with Columbus forward Rick Nash in the first period of the Blue Jackets' 3-2 victory, the Hurricanes said.
