AFL player Chris Judd will make his way to Darwin later this year as part of an ambassador program with a Northern Territory based mining company.
The Carbon Steel company says engaging a popular role model will help with its Indigenous training program in the Top End.
The Brownlow medalist and former West Coast skipper expects to run footy clinics in the middle of the year.
"I'll be up there and giving the kids who are local and close to the Territory mine hopefully an experience which they will enjoy."
"I have been to Darwin once, when I was with the Eagles. We played one game up there and I have been to Alice Springs once so I have had a little taste of it, but i haven't really explored it, so it will be good to get out and see a bit of the countryside."</p>
