Melbourne-born forward Adam Tanner is heading home from the US to play for the re-building Brisbane Bullets next NBL season.

The Bullets have signed the athletic Tanner for two seasons as they piece together a new roster following a change of ownership.

Coach Joey Wright says Tanner is a multi-faceted player that spent two years playing for Seward County Community College where he was named to the All-Kansas Community College West Conference 1st Team.

He moved to the University of Denver in the NCAA Sun Belt Conference in 2006 where he finished two seasons ranked 11th in assists and 15th in blocked shots.

"I've spoken to a number of people who've seen Adam play and they've all said that he's a very promising prospect," said Bullets general manager Brian Kerle.

"He's very mobile and athletic for a big man and we look forward to him being around the club for the next two years."

Wright will head to the US at the end of the month to find his imports after signing several developing players.
