Tottenham have come from a goal down to beat London rivals QPR 2-1 at White Hart Lane today.
Andre Villas-Boas' side conceded just after the half-hour mark when former Spurs player Bobby Zamora struck for the R's but an Alejandro Faurlin own-goal and Jermain Defoe's fourth of the campaign within two minutes allowed the home side to secure maximum points.
The opening goal came in the 32nd minute when Faurlin slipped a deft pass into the path of Zamora who slid home under pressure from an advancing Brad Friedel.
Tottenham's equaliser came in the 59th minute when Faurlin turned his back on Steven Caulker's header from a corner only to see the ball drop past Julio Cesar a couple of minutes before Defoe struck.
The England international controlled the ball after Julio Cesar had deflected Gareth Bale's strike onto the crossbar and rifled home from close range for his 199th career goal.
Veteran American Friedel, who continues to justify why summer signing Hugo Lloris is sitting on the bench, came up with a top-class save to deny Clint Hill's fifth minute header from a corner less than ten minutes before he again came up with the goods to acrobatically thwart Junior Hoilett's dangerous volley.
Jan Vertonghen produced a goal-saving tackle on Hoilett in the 72nd minute as Spurs did everything they could to secure back-to-back wins in the Premier League which sees them move to eighth as Mark Hughes' R's drop to second bottom.
