Liverpool fans have been rocked by John W Henry's assurances to Boston Red Sox supporters that FSG will spend big on them.
While the American tycoon insists he will not break the bank to fund Anfield signings, he boasts that his baseball team will continue to be among sport's biggest spenders.
Liverpool supporters have been left in no doubt which side of the Atlantic Henry's priorities lie, says The Sun.
He said in his American open letter: "Baseball is a 365-days-a-year sport for us. Our commitment to winning with the Red Sox is unabated.
"We continue to have the second highest payroll among the 30 clubs."For all the latest football news go to tribalfootball.com.
