Arsenal locked in Barcelona talks for Afellay

Arsenal are in talks for Barcelona midfielder Ibrahim Afellay.

Dutch sources say Arsenal are working furiously on a deal this week to land Afellay before Friday's transfer deadline.

Rob Jansen, Afellay's agent, has spoken with the Gunners, though Barca will have to drop their £6 million asking price for the deal to happen.
