Norwich confirm signing of Tettey from Rennes

Norwich City have confirmed the capture of Alexander Tettey from French club Rennes.

The 26-year old Norway international has signed a two-year deal with the Canaries for an undisclosed fee after successfully passing a medical to become Chris Hughton's seventh signing of the summer.

"I'm delighted to have Alexander on board and I firmly believe he will be a valuable asset for us," the Norwich boss told the club's official website.

"He's a very good player with international experience, and he's at a good age for us."
