Record crowd sees Galaxy hammered by Real Madrid

Real Madrid outclassed the Los Angeles Galaxy on Thursday, opening a four-game US tour with a 5-1 victory over the Major League Soccer's champions.

The game drew 30,317, a record for a football game at Home Depot Center.

Madrid's tour continues with games on Sunday against the Mexican champions, Santos Laguna, in Las Vegas, on Wednesday against Milan at Yankee Stadium, and on 11 August against Celtic in Philadelphia.
