Leeds fullback Brent Webb has been handed a two-match ban for a reckless high tackle during his English Super League side's 38-18 defeat at Wakefield.
The former New Zealand international and Warriors player, who was hoping to push his claims for a Challenge Cup final place after being out for six weeks with a knee injury, was put on report two minutes into his comeback game for the challenge on Wakefield captain Danny Kirmond.
He was charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel with a grade B offence and he admitted the offence when he appeared in front of the disciplinary committee, which also handed him a STG300 ($NZ580) fine.
The Rhinos have just three more Super League games before the cup final against Warrington on August 25.
