Taylor Worth will make his Olympic debut in London as Australia's lone male archer. In 2010 he overcame a shoulder injury to win team gold at the Delhi Commonwealth Games and was named Australian archer of the year in the same year. He is already familiar with his Olympic hunting grounds - he participated in the test event at Lord's in 2011 and beat the Italians in the team event.

Despite her tender age, 19-year-old Elise Barnard has been a member of the national team for seven years and is going into her first Olympics. Born and raised in Sydney, Barnard picked up the bow for the first time after a foot injury kept her out of a gymnastics and tennis camp. Since then she has earned a swag of gold medals in the Australian Open, national championships and New Zealand national championships as well.
