Kiwis star Adam Blair is returning to NRL action after a week's suspension, determined to stay out of trouble.
But the Wests Tigers' back rower doesn't feel he's been picked on by referees because of his judicial record or the fact he is a former Melbourne Storm player.
After he was sidelined for illegally twisting the leg of Bulldogs centre Josh Morris in a tackle, Tigers coach Tim Sheens and captain Robbie Farah both claimed Blair had been pre-judged because of Melbourne's reputation for wrestling in the play-the-ball area.
But Blair says he has no problems with the officials.
"Refs watch everyone that plays, mine is just a name they call out along with everyone else," he said.
"I just try and stay away from those things. I work hard on the ground, but I got in trouble last week and I have to work harder on improving what I do."Blair returns for the Tigers against the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville next Monday night.
