In one of the more disgraceful incidents in cricket history, Australian Andrew Symonds was subjected to monkey chants by a section of the crowd in India's IPCL Sports Complex during a one-day international in 2007. He was again taunted by the crowd at Wankhede Stadium barely a week later, leading to condemnation from the ICC and Australian officials.
