She might not be a household name in Australian tennis just yet, but the 16-year-old wildcard from Ipswich, Queensland made headway in January 2013 with a shock win over Francesca Schiavone in their Hopman Cup singles match. Expect this young Aussie to make her mark in the years to come.

Replybuddy franklin before peter matera, gotta be kidding.
ReplyJust to add to my previous post..why isn't "Chicken George" on the list? Didn't he achieve enough?
ReplyWhew, just for a moment I thought the Big Fulla missed out too, but he was there and just as well. It ain't a list without Big Artie. I agree with Lumwana Chris tho. No Polly Farmer or Sid Jackson and from league, no John "Chicka" Ferguson and what about the "Black Flash", Larry Corowa? I think they tried too hard to get as many sports on the list instead of aiming for the best sports people.
ReplyTotally agree with Lumwana Chris! Prolly Farmer changed the game of AFL. To not have him in there is a travesty! BTW Cyril Rioli would be a good inclusion.
