Captain of the Indigneous All Stars, Thurston is also skipper of the North Queensland Cowboys. He has a Premiership to his name with the Canterbury Bulldogs and two Dally M Awards. As a player he is versatile and uber-talented for a player of his size and with a growing list of accolades, Thurston is heading for greatness.

Whew, just for a moment I thought the Big Fulla missed out too, but he was there and just as well. It ain't a list without Big Artie. I agree with Lumwana Chris tho. No Polly Farmer or Sid Jackson and from league, no John "Chicka" Ferguson and what about the "Black Flash", Larry Corowa? I think they tried too hard to get as many sports on the list instead of aiming for the best sports people.

Totally agree with Lumwana Chris! Prolly Farmer changed the game of AFL. To not have him in there is a travesty! BTW Cyril Rioli would be a good inclusion.
