A descedent of the Kamilaroi people, 'Dizzy' was a key member of the Australian cricket team during it's golden era. At 6 foot 5, Gillespie was a towering figure when he ran in to bowl, and with 71 Tests for 259 wickets didn't his opposition know it!

Whew, just for a moment I thought the Big Fulla missed out too, but he was there and just as well. It ain't a list without Big Artie. I agree with Lumwana Chris tho. No Polly Farmer or Sid Jackson and from league, no John "Chicka" Ferguson and what about the "Black Flash", Larry Corowa? I think they tried too hard to get as many sports on the list instead of aiming for the best sports people.

Totally agree with Lumwana Chris! Prolly Farmer changed the game of AFL. To not have him in there is a travesty! BTW Cyril Rioli would be a good inclusion.
