As a WACA member of nearly 60 years I have seen a lot of Test Cricket both here and overseas and Ricky Ponting is one of the best batsmen ever produced by Australia. It should also be remembered that Ricky in my opinion is the greatest ever all round fieldsman in a wide variety of positions Test Cricket has seen.
