The man is pure speed and entertainment and six months out from the Olympics no one expected anyone to come within cooee of Usain Bolt in the marquee track event at London. But with running mate Yohan Blake beating Bolt in the Jamaican Olympic trials a chink in the armour appeared. Bolt looked slower, Blake faster. But on the start line at the Olympics Bolt raised a finger to his lips as if to silence his critics. And after his usual lumbering start in the final he took off at the halfway mark and left the field for dead, finishing with gold and the second fastest time ever run, 9.63 seconds. He then proceeded to win gold in the 200m and 4x100m relay.
