Striker Kyle Lafferty is the latest player to leave newco Rangers after joining Swiss club FC Sion.

The Northern Ireland international had earlier this week rejected the transfer of his contract to Charles Green's newco Rangers.

The 24-year-old had been at Rangers since 2008 and in that time made nine appearances in the Champions League.

Lafferty's new employers announced his arrival in a statement on their official website>/i>, which read: "FC Sion have signed the Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty for the next three seasons."
