Socceroo Harry Kewell has been linked with a move to English Premier League side and FA Cup winners Portsmouth.

Kewell is currently fielding offers after coming off contract with Liverpool who have confirmed they will off-load the injury prove midfielder.

English newspaper reports suggest Kewell could be offered a $100,000 a week contract with the Southern English club who finished the EPL season in eighth position.

After five injury disturbed seasons with Liverpool, coach Rafael Benitiz has done away with Kewell who has since attracted interest from Italian club Juventus and Scottish heavyweights Celtic.

Kewell has been named in the Socceroos squad to take on Ghana in Sydney on Friday night.

Kewell says he would like to show Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez that he has let a good player go.

"I think the one person I would like to just show is probably my old manager," he said.

"I didn't get a chance to show him a lot of what I could do and it would be great to just show him what I was capable of doing."
