Arbeloa backing Real Madrid bid for Bayer Leverkusen defender Dani Carvajal

Alvaro Arbeloa has backed talk of Real Madrid re-signing Dani Carvajal.

The young defender has impressed at Bayer Leverkusen this season.

"Dani Carvajal is an excellent player who is demonstrating everything he learnt here in the Bundesliga. His progress is spectacular. There are a lot of reserve players who have moved on to develop and then returned, and it is not a bad path to follow. It would be great for everyone connected to the club if he played for Real Madrid one day," said Arbeloa.
