David Beckham is set to ignore offers to play in the A-League, according to British media reports.
The Daily Mail is quoting "a source close to the player" who says Australia won’t be the next destination for the former England captain.
"If David goes to Australia it will only be on his holidays," the source said.
The 37-year-old revealed this week that he would quit his current club LA Galaxy, which sparked major interest from several A-League clubs.
Melbourne Heart, Central Coast and Perth have all made offers to lure Beckham to Australia.
Beckham has dismissed talk of retirement, saying there are some "exciting offers on the table".
